My sister-in-law is an awesome photographer, but, like most of us, she doesn’t have the opportunity to get in front of the camera a lot. SO! While we were in town, I got to take photos of her cute little family. I think these turned out super cute!
Lindsey was such a joy to photograph. I mean, it’s hard to get a bad picture of someone as pretty as she is! She hiked all around that parking garage in those red stilettos like it was nothin’! Get ready for a gorgeous over load!
I had an amazing opportunity yesterday to work with two gorgeous girls. They came over with their moms in the afternoon and got hair and makeup done, then we went to a couple awesome locations to shoot! It was definitely one of the most fun shoots I have done.
First up is Hannah! Hannah is not only drop dead gorgeous, but she is so sweet and nice and fun to talk to! She is moving to California this summer to become a big shot model! Now I can say I knew her when 😉 She definitely knew how to work the camera, and I LOVE how her photos turned out! Get ready for a whole lot of amazing.
Oh little Hayley. You have no idea what an amazing addition to our family you have been. You are such a joy, and your brothers, dad, and I can’t get enough of you! I dreamed of you before we even knew you were a girl. I had these vivid dreams of our family in the future with two boys and one sweet little girl. I know that little girl was you! You were meant to be a part of our family, and you completed it perfectly.
You gave us quite the scare when you were born. You came 5 weeks early, weren’t breathing, and had to be in the NICU for a couple days. We are so happy that you are perfectly healthy today. You came into this world with dramatic flair, and I can only hope you lose a little bit of your drama by the time you are a teenager 😉
You are the happiest, sweetest, most patient little baby. Your brothers are so energetic and crazy, and you are always just watching them with your big brown eyes. You don’t seem to mind all of the noise they make. You LOVE it when they give you attention and light up when they play with you. I hope you can always look to them for guidance and protection.
I am sure in the future, you will become insecure about one thing or the other. The world will tell you that you have to look a certain way or wear certain clothes to be “pretty.” I want you to know that you are perfect just the way God made you. You are beautiful no matter what the world says. Remember who you are, remember where you came from, and remember your family loves you so much!
Love you Little Miss Mae,
Last night’s session was so fun because I got to photograph a special moment for a great family. In the LDS culture, most young men choose to serve missions when they turn 18 (and young women when they turn 19). A few weeks ago, Michael finished filling out his paperwork to turn in to the Church and yesterday, a packet came in the mail telling him where he will be serving for the next two years!
A few of his friends came over to support him and were anxiously awaiting to see what that letter said!
Opening, reading…..ARGETINA, CORDOBA! And way to look right at me after you read itWhat a great reaction!
Michael is the oldest in his family so this was definitely an emotional night for mom.
Called to serve!
I love a good bromance 😉
Congratulations, Michael! You are going to be an awesome missionary!
